Kerami Moss, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kerami (also known as Mimi) Moss graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S.A. in Animal Science in 2018, she then went on to graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. After her time at UGA, she is proud to call herself a double dawg! Dr. Moss fell in love with animal care and medicine at a young age while helping out at her grandfather’s clinic. As time passed, she continued to dive deeper into science and began to get more hands-on experience, which exaggerated the spark to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Moss expanded her horizons to multiple aspects of veterinary medicine, including veterinary parasitology, shelter medicine, general small animal wellness and preventative care, and small animal general practice. After fulfilling those ventures, she was excited to become part of the Good Hands team! Dr. Moss strives to play a positive role in the clinic and the community, and also strives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the veterinary field.
Within veterinary medicine, Dr. Moss has interests in small animal, exotic animal, and aquatic animal medicine, and specifically enjoys pursuits in soft-tissue surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, nutrition, cardiology, and internal medicine. Additionally, Dr. Moss particularly enjoys the puzzling journey that is veterinary practice. As our animals cannot tell us specifically what they are feeling, Dr. Moss aims to use her training to bridge that communication gap and is dedicated to tending to all of her patient’s needs, and overall providing paws-itively great care for clients’ furry little loved ones! Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Moss enjoys spending time in the gym, rock climbing, painting, drawing, traveling, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with her three cats, Zeppelin, Ozzy, and Stevie.
