About the Role
Good Hands Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative small-animal practice in Athens, Georgia. We offer a supportive team environment, a manageable schedule, and a strong commitment to work-life balance.
Our spacious hospital features four exam rooms, a private consultation/euthanasia room, a large open treatment area, and boarding and grooming services, with future renovations already planned. Our doctors have access to digital X-ray, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser.

- 100% small-animal practice
- Walk-in/work-in and drop-off appointment capabilities
- Close-knit, collaborative team that values open communication and support
- Strong emphasis on work-life balance
- 30-minute appointments for both wellness and sick visits
- Practice offers soft tissue surgeries and dentistry procedures
- 1–2 technicians/assistants per DVM, including three credentialed technicians
Schedule
- 3 weekdays per week, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Rotating limited on-call support for boarding patients if the care team needs veterinary guidance or an emergency arises
