Boarding & Grooming

Professional grooming services are available Tuesday – Friday.
Appointments for grooming may be made by calling 706-613-1880.

The grooming entrance is located on the first floor in the rear of the building.

A few things our groomer would like you to know…

• She works by herself & prefers to bathe & fluff dry all of the pets thoroughly before she begins grooming for the day, so some days it may take a little longer for your pet’s grooming to be complete  as compared to Deidre with the assistance of her bather in the past.
• Each dog is walked at least once during their stay; normally every 3 hours they are exercised outside.
• All grooming patients are given free access to water at all times.
• Pets are normally groomed in order of arrival. As a courtesy, you may request a certain pick-up time & we will try to accommodate everyone as much as possible. Upon admittance, please inform the receptionist if you would prefer to pick up by a certain time so that we can try to schedule accordingly.
• If you prefer a guarantee that your pet’s grooming will be completed within 2 hours of admittance, you may request an “Express Groom” for a $10-15 additional fee (dependent on size.)
• Drop off times are between 7:30-10:30am.  An owner is welcome to drop off as late as 10:30am if they know they will be picking up the pet later in the afternoon. Pets visiting for baths only by the groomer may be admitted as late as Noon.

Boarding Services

Good Hands Veterinary Hospital also has a completely separate boarding and day-care facility.

Each spacious run has its own window.
All of our canine guests are exercised three-times daily and provided a fleece or elevated bed.

We are also now pleased to offer deluxe boarding for your canine companions. We have one enormous 7′x 9′suite, and 3 spacious 6′x 6′rooms that have sliding glass doors that open up into our bright and sunny daycare area. Boarding in these suites includes all the benefits of our standard boarding facilities with the addition of daily one-on-one daycare time with one of our kennel assistants.

Our feline guests have a room with a view and are constantly pampered during their stay. We offer deluxe kitty townhouses that feature five spacious levels to explore with a lower “litter box level” designed with privacy in mind.

All holiday boarding reservations require a $25 non-refundable deposit.

Weekend guests may be picked-up Monday mornings before noon.

All our guests must be up-to-date on their vaccinations.

Daycare

Doesn’t your canine companion deserve some extracurricular activity during the week? Why not take advantage of one of our Doggie Daycare programs.

We have 2, 3 and 5 day/week programs or just drop them off for a day of fun and exercise.

They will enjoy walks, play time and lots of TLC.
